FAQs
Boarding
We kindly ask that you do not bring any bedding from home. We provide all bedding for our guests and launder it frequently. Personal items cannot be kept separate from our facility’s bedding.
We kindly ask that you do not bring toys for your dog’s stay, as they may get lost. We will have plenty of enriching activities for your dog to enjoy during their stay!
Please send food, a leash, and a snug-fitting collar. While we will remove your dog’s collar during their stay for safety reasons, the collar/harness should fit snugly to ensure your dog cannot slip out of it when arriving or departing. Safety is our top priority.
Absolutely! We’re happy to accommodate your dog’s dietary needs. For items that need to be stored in the freezer, please ensure two days' worth is thawed at drop-off. Please avoid sending coolers, as we cannot store them. Be sure to label each bag or container with your dog’s name.
Please send kibble in a large freezer Ziploc bag labeled with your dog’s name and the amount per meal. You may also portion individual meals into smaller Ziploc bags, clearly labeled with your dog’s name.
Please label each can with your dog’s name and feeding amount. Additionally, send a lid for storage after the can is opened.
Yes! If someone else is picking up your dog, they will need a photo ID and must be listed in your account as authorized to pick up your dog.
We require each dog to either go through training with us or complete an evaluation before boarding or attending daycare. Please note that this does not guarantee entry into our boarding program, but it allows us to assess if our environment is a good fit for your dog and vice versa. Our goal is to ensure your dog can engage with other guests and thrive in our low-stress environment.
We do not require dogs to be spayed or neutered. However, we cannot accept dogs that are actively in heat. If a dog goes into heat during their stay, we will contact the owner for pickup or allow the stay to continue with an additional $125 daily fee to cover one-on-one care and extra cleaning. Unaltered males are allowed if they are socially appropriate. Unaltered males that cannot participate in group settings will incur an extra $95 daily fee for one-on-one staff time.
Yes! We aim to share photos daily, but please note that our primary focus is ensuring the dogs’ safety and happiness, which may sometimes limit photo opportunities.
For the safety of all our guests, we require that all dogs be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough). Please provide proof of vaccination prior to your dog’s stay. We also accept titer testing in lieu of vaccines. We also require an updated annual fecal test (please provide us with a negative fecal test result).
Yes, we offer grooming services including baths, nail trims, and more. If you would like your dog groomed before pick-up, please let us know in advance.
In the unlikely event of illness or injury, we will contact you immediately. We will follow your instructions regarding veterinary care and can transport your dog to the nearest vet if necessary. In the event we cannot reach you, we will take all necessary steps to make sure your dog is well taken care of.
